Activities at our home Our activities team are great at creating the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed. Our aim is to Stimulate our residents, along with entertain and enjoy. If families and friends wish to join or contribute, you are most welcome.

Up and coming activities for our Summer season – outdoor tea parties, garden parties, gardening club and many more Please see the activities noticeboard for upto date activities and if you wish for anything to be added please drop us a message or speak to the Nurse on charge when visiting. Winter new year season – January based theme is Scottish music and dance, our famous Burns supper with a poems, Haggis, a wee whiskey toast and our live Bag Pipes (from the gardens) (we have a fogging machine to ensure everything is cleared regularly), for the easter season as it gets brighter we are hoping to opt for easter themed tea partys, arts & crafts, bingo and musical nights are on going back on with strong demand from our residents. We have introduced our daily exercise by resident health and well being by our activities co-ordinators which involve our careers with our residents. The front gardens will be planted with spring daffodils  with our residents choice, which overlooks the Links, the residents families are using this for meeting there loved ones during outdoor visits during Covid19.
Please refer to our in-house newsletter available by email: info@claremontparknursinghome.co.uk or located in lounges in the home. In January we will have our Burns lunch and plan to have Pipers, photos will be on display in the the activities boards in main house. During Covid19 we have had many people from the community providing entertainment from the front gardens including bands, VE Day crochet on the railings, caterpillar trail and many more. With government guidance we have are opening visits for our residents again, please contact the home directly for up to date information.
In the main hall we have a list of our weekly activities along with any other local activities. We would love to hear what you think about our activities and anything else which you would like added. Please contact the manager or activity co-ordinator or drop us a email.
As we are approaching our spring season – we would love to hear from our staff team, residents, resident families and friends of what activities you would like in the upcoming season. Please get in touch.
